A short video journey along the 18 months it took us to restore a bent and rusting red wreck into a race car for the World’s ultimate tarmac rally – Targa Tasmania. This video is missing a lot, as you can imagine with a complete restoration, but it does contain footage of the day we bought the car right up to the recently completed Targa Wrest Point 2010 tarmac rally – without a crash. We need to recognise John Biggelaar (near Launceston) our amazing restorer, and the boys at Gorringes (in North Hobart), who took on a monumental mechanical task and succeeded. And of course my wife and kids who have shown understanding, tolerance and passion.
